I fell in love with photographs when I was a child, spending hours poring over old family albums (probably when i was supposed to be tidying my room). I was intrigued by the stories captured in those still frames, the people and places they held. The voices were gone but the feeling lived on. Photography still fascinates me for much the same reason.
I am an on-location, (mostly) natural light photographer, specializing in weddings and families & the moments in between.
My style is candid and uncontrolled – i step back and watch the day, your time together, unfold, capturing those truths in photographs – be they quiet and still, silly and joyful, heartfelt and emotional. Moments that demand a little organizing are arranged in an easy-going manner, with a spirit of sharing and fun, and always with an eye open for the unpredictable, the spontaneous. My photographs are a marriage of modern and vintage – a beautiful, creative union of today’s style and yesterday’s vintage feel.
I am living happily, in a cabin by the sea, with my husband marc & our baby girl tess. With 2 grown ‘kids’ out in the world. Lucky me.
