kiera & alex’s vintage inspired wedding on hornby island was a sweet slice of all things fabulous. To start, kiera & alex are a dream team… funny, kind & wonderfully open hearted. They welcomed me along on their walk into marriage as though we were old friends. Collaborating with them was joy – sweet & easy. And these 2 have style to spare. This is just a little peek into the beginning of their day… all their gorgeous diy reception details are still to come. But really… kiera’s dress! those shoes! alex’s details! Swoon. Plus, they chose sea breeze lodge as their venue, which is a fabulous mix of incredible location – waterfront on hornby island, wrapped in some old growth trees, great cabins & a dining room full of windows & beautiful natural light – plus a team of fabulous folks pulling it all together.
kiera & alex wanted to start their wedding day together, with a walk through helliwell park. So we set up their first look along the path & wandered through the old growth & out to the cliffs overlooking the sea. The sun was shining & it felt like summer. These 2 laugh easily & often. Like, a lot. So.Much.Fun.
