just after the holidays, i got together with caitlin & drew to celebrate these weeks before the arrival of their babe, the beautiful fullness & wonder of caitlin’s body busy creating a brand new human. And what better way to collaborate than with a hornby island lifestyle documentary maternity session? I love winter sessions… they’re a break from the hope that the sun will shine, & they so often include grey skies, soft lighting, shawls & favourite sweaters, easy snuggling. It was five years ago that i was swept along photographing caitlin & drew’s most fabulous walk into marriage at the oh-so-wonderful sea breeze lodge. Five years? What? How can it be 5 years ago? Time flies. And some things change… like now there’s a baby on the way! Woot, woot! And some things stay the same… the ease of hanging out & collaborating with these two, the fun of getting caught up, the total joy of their delight in one another, hearts shared easily & so openly. That’s one wise little come to share their days with these two.
