joss grew up on hornby. And each summer – & many times throughout the year – she comes with her own little tribe to settle back into the home that grew her from child-into-adult-hood. I think to call it their 2nd home is an understatement… it’s their hornby home, as much a part of their family as the one they live in when not here. And for those summer weeks, they shed their active city lives & fall easily into the rhythms of island living – long afternoons spent sunning & swimming, mountain biking, music making, gardening, days & evenings spent hanging with great friends & extended family, nights spent sleeping under the stars. We booked one of their last summer evenings & i met them at their beautiful home & just hung back & followed the fun. Then a drive down to little trib to meet up with dear friends, well family really, to wrap up all the love. I hope a little of their silly fun-loving-ness, deep love & connection shines through in these captures. Because there’s sure a whole lot of it swirling within & around them all.
