in early august, i made my way over to vancouver island to photograph carla & warren’s amazing wedding at the shelter point distillery. It was that mid-summer wonder, just days before the barley was cut, so the fields around the distillery were golden, the skies were blue, the sun shone hot & everything was about as perfect as can be. Their story is one of both small town neighbourhoods & world wide travel. And for their walk into marriage, carla & warren came full circle, back where it all began, to start their life as husband & wife. They were surrounded by a heaps of love & support & there was a whole lot of fun to get swept up in.
