natalie & dave celebrated their amazing wedding day in lantzville, near nanaimo, on vancouver Island… & what an incredible joy it was to be the photographer who got to follow them through their day. I was so swept up & held in all the love & support they have within & around them. Surrounded by an incredible posse of heart-wide-open family & friends, their day was a slice of wonder-pie. And a good slice… a rich, creamy, all natural & wonderfully sweet slice. Honest, easy-going, heart melting wonderment. And all with this incredible soundtrack playing in the background… & then later, on centre stage. From nat & dave singing ‘can’t take my eyes off of you’ (like it’s never been sung before), to a tribe of wonderfully talented friends who took the stage one after another to serenade them into their wedding night. And then, the wedding band (really, that’s their name), brought down the house. They were… Wow. Just Wow.
natalie & dave, thank you. Thank you for your open hearts, your lovely families, for finding each other in the breadth of this wide world, & for your honest delight in one another. And thank you for sharing all of that so openly with me.
