tamara & kyle’s awesome merridale cidery duncan bc wedding.
i first met tamara & kyle two summer’s ago when tamara was the maid of honour at keeley & chris’ wedding. The love & spark between kyle & her was infectious even then. And now, 2 years later, i was honoured to capture their own walk into marriage. It was tons of fun to reconnect with their fabulous group of friends & to meet their wonderfully supportive families. Merridale ciderworks, outside cobble hill on vancouver island, was the perfect backdrop to their gorgeous day. A beautiful, rustic site with rows of apple trees, complete with an on-site cidery, yurt, old barns, forest walks, a huge pond & great covered outdoor seating for dinner, merridale was a wonderful combination of charming & fun, beautiful & welcoming, much like tamara & kyle themselves. The sun shone brightly & the full moon came out to light the night. There was so much laughter & love in the air & it all culminated in some fantastic rocking-out on the dance floor.
