selena & chris gathered together with their families & closest friends at the gorgeous poets cove resort on south pender island to celebrate their walk into marriage. They met working on cruise ships & wanted a venue that spoke both to their love of nature & their connection with the sea. And they found a perfect match with the oceanfront beauty of poets cove. On top of that, many of the details of their day were hand-crafted by selena & family or purchased on etsy – the cake toppers, the cards & seating tags, the wooden supports for the flowers, the cut coasters, twine wrapped mason jars. There is a lot of support & talent in these families & the reception room just glowed with it all. Selena is a performer, a singer with a beautiful voice, & chris is a naturalist & a writer. We were all blessed to hear their talents, belted out in sweet song & spoken in eloquence. Such gifts. It was a perfect day, warm sunshine, gentle ocean breeze & lots of joy & love abounding in the space.
