from the sublime to the ridiculous. And everything in between. Heart-wide-open love filled moments flowing into silliness & all the delight found between it all.

karen & james’ wedding day, at the fabulous tigh-na-mara resort, was incredible. A joyful ride filled with heaps of love, delight, happiness, tears, celebration & silliness. And all of it flowed freely, shared by all, with wide open hearts shining in the warm summer sun. I found so much hope & promise wrapped up in all karen & james have found in one another. And all they promised to one another, in the deepness of their commitment to each other, is the heart & wonder of marriage days.

to karen & james, i thank you so much for the honour of documenting your day & thank you, truly, from my heart to yours, for sharing yourselves so openly, honestly with me.

On this Thanksgiving weekend it seems fitting to write this blog post in response to the incredible sample of wedding photography above.
From the minute I made contact with Jennifer I knew that I had come across someone special. At the time, my fiance and I had been seeking out vendors for our cake, decorators and for the venue, and felt incredibly blessed to have such a talented group of people, who really felt more like family to us, join us in making our wedding day dreams a reality; and Jennifer was no exception.
Her absolute passion towards love, and marriage carries over into her professional attitude. Each time I had a question, thought or idea about The Big Day, I was always excited to share with Jennifer and even more excited to have her input, which was always “better than I could have imagined myself”. She is timely, compassionate and was so focused on me and James that it felt like we were the only ones in the world.
On the actual day of the wedding Jennifer added so much! She celebrated in our love and added to the joyful spirit of the day by being enthusiastic, creative and above all like part of the family. She ran around snapping pictures and was able to cover each and every important moment; she welcomed feedback and ideas from my family; and offered supportive words to me in times of wedding day stress. She traveled around in our car to different photo sites, and in those quiet times she offered us a sense of calm amidst a day of hustle and bustle. Having Jennifer attend our wedding as our photographer was like having an old friend against whom you can lean and depend on. She is someone who you can look out and see in the crowd and instantly feel comforted and loved.
As you can see from the pictures, she is also incredibly talented in her field and everyone who has seen our pictures comment on the quality of her work.
I cannot recommend Jennifer highly enough and now that the wedding is over, I still think of her often and the invaluable contributions she made to our wedding and our fairytale.
