so often words fall short when i try to describe a couple’s day. My experience of wandering through such a powerful, intimate & celebratory day with 2 people so deeply in love, surrounded by the support & caring of their family & friends & all wrapped within an environment that’s meaningful to them, is hard to express in words. And so it is today, as i post photos from christiane & simon’s amazing wedding. How to describe accurately the buzz, excitement & camaraderie surrounding them both as they got themselves ready to meet one another at the aisle… how to describe the sincerity of their vows & the depth of the love they hold each other in… the fun & sweetness of a beach walk below christiane’s family home, the magic light in a roadside oak grove… the humour, joy & fun of the reception gathering… the truth of relationships shared in speeches, great food, shared time, inter-connected families, all the dancing & delight? Words fall short. I hope the photographs speak more clearly of all of that… of the love & delight that is christiane & simon…
