dolphins resort, just outside campbell river bc, is one of the loveliest venues for a west coast wedding. And almost all the more beautiful in the rain.
charlotte & simon are from england & have come & made their home in vancouver; the beauty of the ocean & mountains has caught them in their spell. And they wanted to gather their family & friends from here & overseas in a beautiful place that shines with all they love about the coast of bc. And they found it most perfectly at dolphins. A laid-back, easy-going vibe, rustic-charming cabins nestled amongst the trees, on the edge of the ocean overlooking the straight to quadra island, a dining room twinkling with candle light & mirrors, seaplanes flying by & some warm summer rain to add to the charm.
& what a day it was – a beautiful reflection of the love, delight & shared wonder these two possess. All was sweet & easy; there was always laughter to be heard, tears of shared joy & gratitude, so much support & caring, a love deep & tangible, & some seriously amazing moves on the dance floor.
charlotte & simon, it was nothing short of wonderful getting to wander through your day with you. May these photos shine with a little of the love & beauty you have swirling within & around you. And heartfelt happiness to you both.
